I've really enjoyed this zombie series! I thought this was the last book in the series but NOPE! It ends in a killer cliffhanger. UGH!!! Currently no information is out about the next book, with exception to there apparently being at least one, maybe two more books planned.

I very much liked Finn opening up more in this book about his feelings. In book one, Nurrin is the only POV we read. In book two we get to experience both POV's of Nurrin and Finn. Finn is pretty closed off and we don't get much insight into what's in his head...aside from an insane attraction to Nurrin. Finn is one secretive, mysterious dude. I'm not so sure we ever even learn their ages - though I tried figuring that out.

Book three starts up right where two leaves us. Nurrin has been taken by The Order and is in a train going who knows where, with an infected. Meanwhile Finn is going crazy trying to find out what happened to her and sets off on a killing rampage of The Order until he gets answers.

I did have a few irritations with this book. First off, the Kindle edition I purchased had a TON of grammatical errors. I really can't wrap my mind around a book that has a publishing company being released for purchase with that many errors in it. Sure it's easy, and understandable to miss a few, but such a book should never have a ton. Second irritation, and this is just personal preference, the "F" bomb is dropped way more than seemed necessary. Finn has a mouth on him - he has since book one. So that's to be expected. However in this book, it felt like basically every time there was dialogue or a thought from one of the characters that there was another "F" bomb. It got old because it felt excessive. And my last irritation, there is a situation towards the end of the book that felt too glossed over to me. I can't give more information because I don't want to ruin any major details of the book, but it's something that happens to Nurrin. I had a "wait, what?" moment and had to go back to read because I felt like I missed something. A very vague comment wasn't enough for me to piece together what had happened at first read.

I'm still a big fan! I'm still anxious - maybe even extremely anxious now - to see what happens next. Zombie fans who like a little angst and romance (keeping in mind this is New Adult so there is language and some mature content) will enjoy.

Favorite Quotes:
"We always knew it would happen eventually. Can't live through the end of the world forever."

We all need something to live for. It doesn't matter what it is. Family. A cure that will never be reality. A Haven you serve. A girl you love. An Order, mad as it may be.

Some people shut down under pressure and anger. But some people - people like her - sharpen with it. They get stronger. It's why I push her.

It all ends in death. That's all there is - it's just a matter of how you pass the time until then. Hiding or fighting to live.

Final Rating - 3.5 stars

The Future Without Hope The World Without End Volume 3 Nazarea Andrews 9780989479974 Books Reviews

This author believes in cliff hangers. So I'm left very interested in what's in store for Nurrin and Finn. I dislike reviews that recap or throw out . Especially in the middle of a series. Those already reading this series are already invested in the characters and know the storyline and are likely awaiting the final installment, as am I. So, for those perusing this series I will simply say that I have enjoyed these first three books a great deal. There are some fresh and inventive ideas about what the world would become in the midst of the zombie apocalypse and there is a rawness to the characters that makes them tangible. The story is fairly fast paced and fraught with crazed herds of flesh devouring. Finn and Nurrin 's relationship is complicated and as they begin to let their guard down things start to get both more and less complicated for them. But regardless of whether they are hating or loving each other...there are always the zombies. And this series features the best kind. The gorey, biting, clawing, rip your flesh off zombies that horror writers hope will give you the creeps. This series is certainly worth a read and I would recommend it to MATURE readers.
Pretty much all the one and 2 star reviews throughout the series sum up my take on this. Although Finn did get a little more likeable-ish, his and rens story was never believable. Sorry, I'm just never able to root for an abusive relationship in any story and that's what they were from start to finish. They were nothing more than selfish idiots who never cared for anything but their own satisfaction. The zones were more like a wide note in a sadistic sub par sex story- because let's face it, there was no love even romance, just crazy and...kinda weird...sex. if I had not purchased the full series together, I would not have wasted a penny on it. Would have stopped before even finishing the free first book. Oh well. Learned my lesson.always read the first book before purchasing.
Oh my goodness why would you end like that??? I honestly cannot get my mind off of this book or series. This book and series are just completely epic.

Nurrin has been kidnapped and is now set to be a sacrifice in years to come. They expect her to be grateful they haven’t killed her right away and that they’re feeding her, but Nurrin is a survivor and no matter what they throw at her she’ll survive.

Finn is taking the threat to Nurrin’s life seriously as he tries to find her. He decides he needs to take extreme measures and begins killing people to get the answers he needs. Now he has to team up with one of the most powerful men and the man Finn hates the most to get Nurrin back.

Oh my goodness so this book seriously just flew for me. I didn’t put it down at all. I swear one minute I’m at the beginning and then I’m reading one of the most cliffhanger endings in existence.

Nurrin goes through so much in this book it makes me sad. I won’t give too much away but I will say it’s disgustingly terrible and I can’t wait for the people who hurt her to pay.

Finn is his usual bad self, but he is also opening up to Nurrin about himself and to us as readers in his head. I like Finn a lot and I hope in the last installment he’s more open about everything about his past.

This series is great and while we didn’t get as much action with the zombies as before we get a lot of character development that we haven’t really seen in the other two books. Can’t wait for book four.
